Hello and thank you for stopping to look at our work! Here's a little bit about us...
Our Passion..
We are wedding, event, and headshot photographers with over 17 years of experience that service Connecticut and Southern Maine.
We have Style..
For me, it’s about the emotion and passion of the day, and I hope that’s evident through my images. I feel that it’s my job to capture one of the most momentous days of your life. And, while my focus is on you, my assistant is photographing the other story that’s occurring behind us – that of your family and friends
We're Philosophical..
Because we are professionals, we have dedicated ourselves to continuing our education so that our clients can benefit from the latest photographic techniques. We have studied with some of the most influential photographers so that we can bring a new perspective to our work and ultimately pass it along to our clients.
It's important for you to get to know us..
You may ask, "Well, I know your pricing, and I've seen your work. What else do I need to know about you?" We'd like for you to meet us in person to determine if we have a connection; enough of a connection to photograph one of the most important days of your life. We believe that meeting us to discuss the details of your event will reveal if we're right for each other!
We like to do our homework ahead of time..
A couple of things. We call the church or officiant ahead of time to determine if there are any rules at the church or wedding site. We also like to visit the venue prior to the event and ask that you to come along so that we may share ideas.
About Me
Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by and getting to know a little bit about me. I could share the story of how I became interested in photography, but that would be boring. So I thought I’d give you some facts about me.
Name, Rank, and Serial Number please? Born Kristie Marie (younger of twins). Rank? Born #3 of 3. Virgo = perfectionist (and that doesn’t make me a bad person, does it?)
Is there drama in your household? None! Everything is calm as a cucumber (and if you believe that... there's a bridge in Brooklyn that I'd like to sell you)
What is in your cupboard? I don’t care for chips and French fries, but chocolate – oh, sweet chocolate. I love it.
What genre of music do you listen to? R&B mostly, I find it very soulful.
What was the best thing your mother ever taught you? Aside from wearing clean underwear…Don’t ever go anywhere empty handed. She’s 90 years old and still makes sure that I call my relatives to say thank you for the Christmas gifts - Geesh!
What kind of cake do I want for your birthday? No cake, pie please…with fruit in it. What kind of fruit you ask? Peaches!
What are some of the things you’ll never experience in your life? (This is an easy one)…Skydiving. I’m terrified of flying so why on earth would I want to jump out of the plane!
If you were stranded on an island with one thing, what would it be? Mascara. Hey, my eyelashes need to look good!
If you had to give your kids advice on a career choice, what would it be? Do everything in your power to try to make a living out of the things you love. Working for 40 years is no joke!
Other than that, I like happy occasions which is why wedding photography is such a win/win for a person like me. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, I like long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners, I believe that the best things in life are free and that laughing is great medicine. I like happy television such I love Lucy and Everybody Loves Raymond (reminds me of my Italian family) and the spa. Oh, and did I mention that I love the spa??
